Breeches vs Breggings vs Competition Leggings
Breeches, breggings or competition leggings? Definitions, full-seat vs knee grip, show rules on white breeches and when to wear each.
Designed by a professional show jumper — fit, fabric and finish decided in the saddle, not on a spec sheet.
“Prestige” is, before anything else, a piece of tailoring. Shaping seams draw the waist in and release over the hip, the front edge sweeps into a softly rounded hem, and the notched lapel sits flat against the chest — an unmistakably feminine outline that holds its shape in the saddle as well as on the ground.
Burgundy deepens the effect. The wine-dark shade carries real presence between the customary blues and blacks of a competition line-up, yet stays well inside the bounds of correct dress.
Because the structure comes from the cut rather than from heavy cloth, the jacket stays remarkably light: the perforated stretch fabric breathes and flexes through every round, the buttoned front keeps the picture crisp, and twin zip pockets follow the seam lines without breaking them.
