How to Build a Matchy Set: Saddle Pad and Ear Bonnet
How to put together a saddle pad and ear bonnet that actually belong together: choosing velvet or nylon first, matching colour to your horse's coat, getting the cut and the...
Designed by a professional show jumper — fit, fabric and finish decided in the saddle, not on a spec sheet.
“Resolve” is shaped around the geometry of a jumping saddle. The front edge is angled forward to match the shorter, closer flap, so nothing bunches under the knee on the approach and nothing drags backward as the horse leaves the ground and lands.
The colour stays deep chocolate, bordered in black and finished with a tone-on-tone embroidered logo — a shade that matches the tack rather than competing with it.
The working details do the rest. A breathable nylon face sheds heat between rounds, structured quilting holds the filling in one even layer instead of letting it drift toward the edges, and the contoured spine keeps the pad seated over the withers jump after jump.
Sharp enough for a show morning, sensible enough for the daily grid session — a jumping pad that treats chocolate as a working colour, not a decoration.
