Breeches vs Breggings vs Competition Leggings
Breeches, breggings or competition leggings? Definitions, full-seat vs knee grip, show rules on white breeches and when to wear each.
Designed by a professional show jumper — fit, fabric and finish decided in the saddle, not on a spec sheet.
This is the pad for the six-day week. “Direction” is made for the schooling that fills the space between competitions — transitions, test movements, long steady work — where a pad has to fit well every single day, not just look right on Sunday.
The malachite green nylon brings colour into the routine, framed by black binding that keeps the picture orderly enough for the dressage arena. The cut is discipline-correct too: a nylon dressage saddle pad with the extended outline a long-flap saddle needs.
Daily use is where the construction shows its worth. The anatomical shape settles onto the back the same way ride after ride, quilting stops the filling from migrating, and the durable, breathable nylon stands up to constant saddling and brushing off. A schooling partner first — and still tidy enough for the boards.
